DES modifies doorways by widening the doorway and installing

a wider door and/or installing swing clear hinges.

A 24" wide bathroom door can often be widened to a 30" wide door.  The addition of "Swing Clear Hinges" can add up to 2'' of additional clearance.

Corner guards can be added to outside corners to protect them from chairs & scooters.  Many colors are available.  Available for square or rounded corners.

Standard door knobs can be replaced levers for ease of use.  This enables some persons to access the door who may not be able to otherwise.
